Our Exclusive Spa Products: Caudalie

Developed in 1993 in Bordeaux by Mathilde & Bertrand Thomas with the help of Professor Joseph Vercauteren, (one of the world’s specialists in Polyphenols) at the Thomas family  Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte. Two years later in 1995 a patent was registered for extracting grape-seed Polyphenols and a brand was created – Caudalie. Starting small at a  few pharmacies in Bordeaux, and the rest, as they say, is history!

But what is a Caudalie…?

A caudalie [kodali] is a unit measuring the duration of the wine’s flavour on the palate. For each second the flavour remains this is a caudalie. A quality wine will contain many caudalie’s.

When formulating their products, Caudalie are committed to selecting natural, environmentally-friendly and active ingredients, wherever possible, and are continuously seeking new and innovative green ingredients.

Our exclusive Caudalie treatments are designed to indulge skin while providing visible results. Transport yourself to the vineyards of Bordeaux in our exclusive Spa set in the heart of St Brelade’s Bay.
