How long have you been at St Brelade’s Bay Hotel?
Since April 1992 – 26 years

Describe what you do at the hotel in 5 words or less
Fix anything that’s broken, if possible

What do you like about working at St Brelade’s Bay Hotel?
The fun and camaraderie, it’s like a big family here and we all get along really well, most of the time.
Also meeting guests and seeing them come back every year, without them none of us would be here!

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I collect antique glass bottles so I love going on hikes and having a dig around and finding rare bits and bobs.

Where’s your favourite place in the world?
The lakes around Carinthia in Austria

If you could be any animal, which would you be & why?
A Mole, so that I could go underground and find all the old bottles that are hidden away

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?
No one in particular, I’d like to be an explorer because I love exploring and finding hidden places that I didn’t know were there.
Even in Jersey, that’s still possible. A while back I found some paths in Grève de Lecq that I had never seen before.

What drives you?
I believe its a privilege to wake up each day and I do my best to always have a happy outlook and live each day to the full.

What’s your background?
I’ve always been a painter and was self-employed for a while before I started at St Brelade’s Bay Hotel

What’s your secret talent?
I’m very good at finding things, it’s like an intuition!
